The Delan family of Abadan, a prosperous and passionate coastal city in Iran, brought forth a son that has become the newest gift to the world of music. Kamran was born in a family rich in love and music. From the gleaming age of five, and under the guidance of his uncle who was an accomplished music teacher, Kamran became immersed in the world of music.
His exceptional skills earned him the attention of the eminent musicians of the time. He was placed in the prestigious Khaneye Javanan and Kakh Javanan music societies where he was surrounded by the brightest and the most talented young Iranian musicians of the time. By age 13, he had already formed a music band that enjoyed a local popularity in Amir Abad of Tehran. Kamran's international journey began when he traveled to England in the late 1970's. Shortly after, the 1979 revolution in Iran forced him to travel again, but this time, to Spain.
It proved to be a blessing in disguise because this was where Kamran enjoyed the infusion of Gitano, or Spanish Gypsy, music into his own. The rich music of Spain delighted his musical creativity. He found natural compatibility between that and the music of his home, Abadan. His life's journey took him from Spain to Sweden.

Meanwhile, he continued his music by working selectively with a few well known artists, who had the special affinity for his music. Of those artists was Andy, whose accomplishments have earned him a loyal following and an appearance at the Oscar-nominated film 'The house of sand and fog'.
During this time, Kamran also produced 'Lost Generation' from Avang for Nami and finally Kamran's long chain of multidisciplinary success has now come to its most recent link.He has stepped onto the lime light with his latest album '- U'. This album culminates his life long experience and journey.
One can easily detect the assorted influences along his musical path.
